After years of building performance-driven campaigns for service-based businesses and B2B brands, Papercut Collective is doubling down on what it does best delivering real, measurable results. Known for its work across social media, SEO, SEM, and branding video content, the Singapore-based agency has grown from a boutique outfit into one of the city’s most nimble and forward-thinking digital marketing partners.
What are clients expecting from Papercut Collective today?
Nigel: Expectations have definitely evolved. Today’s clients don’t just want “more leads”they want smarter, more efficient performance. Whether it’s lowering cost per acquisition, increasing qualified traffic, or scaling eCommerce sales, our role is to drive outcomes.
At Papercut Collective, our strength lies in blending data with creativity. We’re not here to just run ads we're here to build marketing systems that are accountable, repeatable, and growth-focused.

How have client strategies shifted over the past year?
Nigel: Clients are more ROI-driven than ever. Whether they're a personal trainer, a franchise consultant, or an eCommerce startup, everyone wants to make their marketing dollar stretch further. We’re seeing more businesses lean into performance marketing strategies like Google Ads and Meta Ads but also complementing them with organic efforts like SEO services and content.
We’ve also seen a huge uptick in requests for video content. Short-form, scroll-stopping videos especially for platforms like TikTok and Instagram are no longer just nice to have. They’re essential. And for many businesses, getting their first eCommerce site live became a top priority during Singapore’s lockdown. That trend hasn’t slowed down.
What trends do you think will stick post-pandemic?
Nigel: Hybrid work isn’t going anywhere and that’s true for both our team and our clients. But instead of resisting change, we’ve embraced it. We’ve invested in internal systems and project workflows that make collaboration seamless, whether you’re in the office or remote.
We’re also expanding our creative department copywriters, video editors, and designers so we can support our clients with full-funnel campaigns. Strategy is key, but execution is everything. That’s why we aim to be a one-stop shop for growing brands.
What defines great marketing in 2025?
Nigel: Good creative gets attention. Great marketing gets results. In today’s crowded landscape, your campaign needs to do more than look pretty it needs to perform.
At Papercut Collective, we measure success not by impressions or vanity metrics, but by growth: increased revenue, higher engagement, and lower cost per lead. The work has to earn its place.
How are you planning for the future?
Nigel: Content consumption is only going to grow and businesses need to adapt. People are tuning out hard-sell tactics and tuning into content that educates, entertains, and earns their attention. That’s why video, especially short-form, continues to dominate.
Our approach for 2025 is simple: marry strong content marketing with sharp performance strategy. When those two come together, you get marketing that doesn't just look good it works.
